I like the way the letterforms of ‘bigkid’ flow together, especially when using a shoelace. I’m using this as a portfolio cover page for the moment.

Self-promotional piece (me in paper form). I included contact details and information as a sort of business card/direct mail item.

Fresh batch of magenta cards, and I have to say, they turned out pretty good!

I applied some Photoshop magic to make these already impressive shots, a little better. (The originals) Kanye West taken by iphonewallpapers.net and the bmx rider taken by Jon Hanson.

With a needle and thread, some fleece and a bag of stuffing I painstakingly brought a vector illustration to life. I haven’t sewn anything since we had to in grade school. A sewing machine will be in order for the next one, hopefully there will be an army of these guys ready soon.

I recently came acrosss the NikeiD website on which you can customise your own shoes with various colours and patterns. I had an idea to create a Nike shoe based on an Ishihara colour-blind test plate. The copy reads ‘See your own colours www.nikeid.com’. I think this could be really effective in print.

Omega Code recently held a poster competition from which 20 submisssions will be chosen to feature in an upcoming new book produced by IDN World. This is my submission. There were 400 in total, many of which were nothing less than superb. Entries are closed but you can see the competition here.

This is my first Munny. I used various acrylic paints and a Sharpie for the details. I’m yet to use a sealer for a nice gloss finish. I thought I’d start small with the mini and work my way up. This guy is confused as unfortunately for him he writes as he speaks, with a one-toothed lisp.

I had some fun with a button press I picked up from a shop in Kensington Market over the weekend, and I liked how they turned out. They’ll soon be packaged and ready to own in packs of four on Etsy.

I like the combination of illustration and photo especially with a bit of DOF thrown in.

From time to time I draw a random character or scenario in sketchbook. These are some that I vectored.

There are a million things that represent Toronto, here are a few that came to mind, composed to make the City Hall, one of Torontos biggest icons.

Combination of hand drawn sketches and studio photos I did for a fashion print ad concept.

I saw these the other day for the first time and thought of this print concept for Nike.

A visual interpretation of the lyrics from (most likely) the catchiest song you’ll ever hear. Empire of the Sun’s Walking on a Dream. 72″ x 36″ Acrylic on canvas.
